Panelist Bios:

Mike Yavonditte

Mike Yavonditte sold his company Quigo to AOL for $340M in 2007. He is the founder and CEO of Hashable and a key stakeholder of Meetup.com, Yipit, Tracked.com, Klout, Voxy and Howaboutwe, along with others that are not announced.

Karl Chong

Karl Chong is the CEO of Groupon Singapore and the founder of Beeconomic. He was a featured personality on Asia Channel News and Singapore's Her World Magazine recently ranked him one of the 'Top 50 Men We Love'. Prior to founding his own business he had a successful career in investment banking and private equity for Macquarie Bank in New York City.

Brittany K. Earls

Brittany Kaytrina Earls is the founder and CEO of Genesis Magazine LLC. Prior to that she was the Associate Editor for Blest Magazine at twenty one years old.

Claire Burroughs Perez

Claire Burroughs Perez founded CaeliNYC, a line of contemporary women’s clothing inspired by women who love life and embrace beauty and effeminacy in 2008 and launched her online store in 2009. Claire’s fashion line is now carried by stores throughout the United States. She will be launching a flagship store in New York City in the near future.

Christina Yao

Christina Yao is the director of EMPIRE OF SILVER, a feature film starring Hong Kong superstar Aaron Kwok. She has an extensive theatrical repertoire, having directed over 30 plays for prestigious companies such as the American Conservatory Theatre and the National Theatre of Taiwan. Published in Taiwan, France and the US, Yao is also an acclaimed short story writer, playwright and critical essayist. Yao's academic background has included Taipei's National Institute of the Arts, Wellesley College and San Francisco State University. Yao holds a Ph.D. in Asian Theatre from Stanford University.
